Job description

  • $30–$60 per hour
  • 100% remote
  • Part-time
  • Fully flexible schedule

Review machine-generated image labels, mark objects the models missed, and deliver accurate imagery from a secure environment.

AI companies need drone and maritime imagery analysts to test and correct their systems using imagery captured by drones, maritime platforms and sensors. This project asks you to check model-drawn boxes, locate objects the models failed to detect, and follow the labeling rules on finished images. You will submit accurately marked images, flag unclear examples, and send questions about the labeling rules, with video-frame annotation possible if the project expands. This is that work, done remotely around your schedule.

What you'll do

  • Check and adjust boxes generated by the models on drone and maritime imagery
  • Mark objects the AI models failed to detect
  • Use the labeling rules consistently on finished images
  • Flag unclear examples and send questions about the labeling rules

  • Familiarity with drone, maritime, and sensor imagery in daylight or thermal formats
  • Fluent in English and able to communicate clearly in writing and speech
  • Able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card or take part in its sponsorship process
  • Careful, consistent labeling with close attention to detail
  • At ease with dedicated labeling software and quick to pick up new tools
  • No AI experience needed.

Benefits

  • Why this is worth your time
  • Get paid $30–$60 an hour
  • Use your imagery knowledge on annotation work involving drone, maritime and sensor data
  • Produce accurate labeled imagery for machine-learning projects
  • Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
  • Pay and details
  • $30–$60 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
  • Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
