We are a fast-growing creator management agency scaling from 30 to 80+ creators over the next 12 months. Creative quality and output is the binding constraint on revenue per creator.
This role exists to remove that constraint - by building and delivering the content strategy, creative briefs, and coaching that turn every creator in your pod into a stronger performer.

THE ROLE
Every creator in this agency needs one person who owns their creative direction, their coaching, and their revenue outcome. That is this role.
You will manage a pod of creators, build and deliver their content plans, analyse what is performing across YouTube and Instagram, and coach them to produce stronger content so they grow their subscriber base and earn more. You are also the day-to-day relationship holder for your pod - fielding queries, resolving issues, and keeping those relationships healthy.
This is not a management role. You do not manage creators. You coach them, brief them, and hold the commercial outcome. Persuasion and relationship strength are your tools.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Creative coaching: review what each creator in your pod is producing, identify where performance is dropping, and work with them directly to lift the quality of their output shoot by shoot
Content and branding briefs: produce the briefs that direct each creator's output so every creator has a clear plan for what they are making, why, and what it is meant to achieve
Data reviews: run regular performance reviews across your pod, identify what is winning and what is failing, and feed those findings back into the next round of briefs
Competitor content analysis: analyse top performing content across the niche on YouTube and Instagram, pull the patterns, and translate them into formats your creators can execute
Revenue ownership: drive creators toward their revenue targets using creative and media as the lever, accountable for the commercial trajectory of your pod
Client support and retention: handle creator queries, resolve issues quickly, and reduce churn through strong day-to-day relationship management
Onboarding new creators: own the onboarding of new creators joining your pod, set the creative baseline, build the first plan, and get them producing to standard fast
Reporting upward: report pod performance, risks, and creator issues to the Head of Client Success on the agreed cadence

WHAT YOU WILL BE MEASURED ON
Subscribers per creator: average subscriber count across your pod, tracked over time
Creator churn: the rate at which creators in your pod leave
Speed to revenue for onboarded creators: time taken for a new creator to reach a defined revenue threshold
Targets and weightings set quarterly with the Head of Client Success.
Requirements & qualifications
- WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience (non-negotiable)
- 3+ years in content strategy, branding, or creative direction
- Direct experience working with on-camera talent or creators:briefing them and coaching their performance
- Experience (preferred)
- Creator economy or influencer marketing background
- Has worked in an environment where content performance was tied to revenue and been measured on it
- Experience running content across multiple accounts or brands simultaneously
- Skills (must-have)
- Short-form video fluency across Instagram and YouTube, with a clear point of view on why content performs
Brief writing: translating analysis into plans that others can execute
Coaching and delivering feedback that lifts performance without damaging the relationship
Data literacy: reading performance dashboards and acting on what they show
Client relationship management

LOGISTICS
Location: Fully remote.
South Africa preferred
Hours: Full-time, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Reports to: Head of Client Success
