Job description
A high-profile private household is looking for a professional, discreet Private Dog Trainer to manage the training, daily care, and routine for companion dogs (with a focus on puppies and small/toy breeds) across private residences in Egypt.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Behavior: Design individual, positive reinforcement training programs (obedience, house-training, leash walking, socialization); address behavioral issues (barking, separation distress).
Daily Care & Welfare: Manage feeding, exercise, enrichment, grooming, and hygiene. Monitor health and coordinate vet appointments.
Staff Guidance: Train household staff on consistent handling techniques, commands, and feeding routines.
Travel & Relocation: Prepare supplies and accompany dogs during transfers between private residences.
Requirements & qualifications
Experience: 5+ years as a professional dog trainer (experience with puppies and small/toy breeds is essential).
Background: Prior experience in UHNW / VIP private households is strongly preferred.
Methods: Strictly positive reinforcement and reward-based training.
Certifications: Recognized professional dog-training qualifications.
Personal Traits: High discretion, patience, flexibility, and strong references.

The position is primarily based in Cairo and El Guna, Egypt, with the flexibility to travel between residences according to the principals' schedule. Working hours may vary based on the dogs' daily routine and the family's needs, occasionally including evenings, weekends, and short-notice changes. The specific work schedule and days off will be agreed upon with the household. Meals and accommodation are provided; travel expenses are covered, and visa sponsorship is included.
