UI, UX Designer (Construction Tech) at Sky Real Estate in Remote (full-time)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to help design intuitive, modern, and highly functional digital experiences for a growing construction technology platform.

In this role, you will translate complex construction workflows, project data, and user requirements into simple, practical experiences that contractors, project managers, field teams, administrators, and other construction professionals can use with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user experiences for web and mobile construction technology products.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, dashboards, and high-fidelity interface designs.
• Translate complex construction and project-management workflows into clear, user-friendly experiences.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback from customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
• Identify usability problems and recommend practical design improvements.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Design responsive interfaces that work effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Build and maintain reusable design components and scalable design systems.
• Create interactive prototypes for testing new features and product concepts.
• Use data, user feedback, and usability testing to continuously improve the product experience.
• Ensure consistency across typography, navigation, components, layouts, and overall product interactions.
• Stay informed about emerging UI/UX practices, SaaS products, AI-powered interfaces, and construction technology trends.

Proven professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.

Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, interface design, wireframing, prototyping, and completed digital products.

Proficiency with Figma and modern design/prototyping tools.

Strong understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, responsive design, and usability principles.

Experience designing SaaS platforms, dashboards, marketplaces, project-management software, or other data-rich applications.

Ability to simplify complex workflows without sacrificing functionality.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
