Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Culinary Team at Grand Hyatt DFW located at the DFW Airport as our PM Restaurant Line Cook!
Our upscale hotel is located in Terminal D in the DFW Airport, featuring 298 guest rooms and 34,000 square feet of meeting space with runway views. Grand Met Restaurant offers a sophisticated ambiance and innovative global cuisine. Flavors from around the world are seasonally inspired and artfully prepared in our modern show kitchen.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- • Set up and breakdown of restaurant line
- • Stock and maintain designated food stations
- • Maintaining proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and hotel requirements
- • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
- • Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards in a timely and efficient manner
- • Qualifications
- • Requires good communication skills
- • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- • Maintain a high level of responsibility and attention to detail
- • Ability to adapt under pressure
- • Minimum 1+ years Culinary experience preferred
- • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
- • Candidates should be able to perform all intermediate cooking skills
- • Requires moderate supervision and training
- • Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight
- • Must be able to stand for entire shift
Flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. Primary shift is PM (3: 30pm-11:30pm).
