Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Private Chef with expertise in diet and nutrition to provide tailored culinary services for private family in the United Arab Emirates. This role requires a balance of culinary creativity and nutritional knowledge, ensuring every meal is exceptional and supports the health and wellness of all family members.
Culinary Excellence:
• Plan, prepare, and serve daily meals tailored to the dietary preferences and nutritional needs of the family.
• Create diverse, innovative menus including international cuisines, fine dining, and healthy meal options.
• Ensure meals accommodate dietary requirements such as calorie-controlled, diabetic-friendly, low-sodium, gluten-free, or allergy-specific diets.
• Prepare meals for formal dinners, family gatherings, private events, and high-level guests.
Diet & Nutrition Management:
• Collaborate with personal trainer to design balanced meal plans for each family member.
• Track and monitor nutritional intake to align with individual health and wellness goals.
• Adapt menus for allergies, intolerances, or other medical restrictions within the family.
Kitchen & Operations Management:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining impeccable hygiene and food safety standards.
• Source premium ingredients, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Manage pantry and kitchen inventory, controlling costs without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with household staff or external vendors to ensure seamless meal service.
• Prepare meals for travel or coordinate catering when the family travels.
Event & Hospitality Support
• Design and prepare menus for special occasions, family gatherings, and formal events at the residence.
• Provide fine-dining service and presentation for family meals, private events, and high-level guests.
• Work closely with the Butler and household staff to deliver smooth service during events.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
• Professional culinary training, with certification from a recognized culinary school (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience as a Private Chef, Executive Chef, or in luxury hospitality environments.
• Strong background in nutrition, dietary management, and wellness-focused cooking.
• Expertise in a wide range of cuisines, including international fine dining.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP/ISO or equivalent).
• Experience catering to high-net-worth families, executives, or private residences preferred.
• Flexibility to travel with the family and adapt to changing schedules.
