Job Description

The Remote Data Clerk Specialist is responsible for accurately collecting, entering, and maintaining data in the company’s systems. This role ensures the integrity and confidentiality of data, supports reporting needs, and collaborates with HR, finance, and other internal departments to maintain smooth data flow across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, review, and accurately enter data into company databases and software systems.
  • Maintain and update digital records, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors to ensure high data quality.
  • Assist internal departments (HR, finance, operations) with data requests and reporting needs.
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Safeguard confidential information in line with company policies and data privacy regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Generate basic summaries, charts, or reports for internal use when required.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in data entry, administrative, or clerical roles.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace.
  • Experience with data management systems (CRM, ERP, or HRIS) is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong typing speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Salary & Compensation

Hourly Rate: $25-30
