Job Description
The Microbiology Lead will be responsible for overseeing all microbiological aspects of dairy production, ensuring product safety,quality, and compliance with regulatory and food safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
What will be your key responsibilities? Oversee and manage microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Ensure compliance with food safety systems such as HACCP, GMP, ISO, and relevant regulatory standards. Identify, assess, and control microbiological risks within production processes. Lead contamination investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices across manufacturing and laboratory operations. Ensure timely and accurate microbiological reporting to support product release decisions. Train and guide microbiology laboratory staff on best practices and food safety requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance microbiological control and testing efficiency.
