Job Title: Cisco IPT Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cisco IPT Engineer to support the operations and maintenance of Cisco Unified Communications systems at a key site in Manila. This is a 12-month secondment opportunity ideal for professionals with solid Cisco voice experience and strong troubleshooting skills in network and telephony environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Maintain, support, and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communications (UC) systems
- • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patches on IPT infrastructure
- • Collaborate with local and remote teams to address voice and network issues
- • Manage configuration and provisioning of Cisco IP phones and voice gateways
- • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of UC services
- • Generate documentation and reports related to system performance and incidents
- • Provide on-site technical support as needed
Requirements & Qualifications
Requirements:
- • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications systems
- • Strong network and voice troubleshooting skills across LAN/WAN and VoIP environments
- • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- • Relevant experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level Cisco IPT environments
- • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to resolving issues
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- • Adaptability to dynamic work environments and requirements
Preferred Certifications:
- • Cisco CCNP Voice (Required)
- • VMware VCP (Preferred) – helpful for working with UC on virtualized environments
