Job Description
Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, is seeking a Medical Records and Appointment Booking Officer to manage patient data, maintain accurate health records, and efficiently handle appointment scheduling to ensure smooth hospital operations and excellent patient service.
Responsibilities:
- • Register new patients and update existing patient records in the system.
- • Maintain confidentiality and organization of all medical files and documents.
- • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments as required.
- • Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth flow of patient information.
- • Retrieve and file records promptly for clinical staff and patients.
- • Prepare daily appointment lists and assist with front desk administrative duties.
- • Ensure compliance with data protection and hospital record-keeping standards.
- • Handle patient inquiries courteously and professionally.
Requirements & Qualifications
- • HND/BSc in Medical Records Administration or Biostatistics
- • �� Minimum of 10 years (MR1) or 5 years (MR2) post-qualification experience
- • �� Professional licence to practice required
- • �� Qualification or training in Electronic Health Records (EMH/EHR) is mandatory
- • �� MBA in Business Administration (Information Technology) is an advantage
- • �� Excellent knowledge of hospital/patient management software
- • �� Experience in the oil and gas medical sector preferred
- • �� Qualifications in IT or Computer Science an added advantage
Salary & Compensation
Annual Salary: $150000-175000
