Our client, a reputable organization in the health and safety sector, is seeking a diligent Environmental Health Officer (Level 1) to assist in implementing and monitoring environmental health programs that promote public health and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections of facilities, workplaces, and public areas to ensure environmental health compliance.Identify and report hazards related to sanitation, waste management, and pollution control.Support the enforcement of environmental health laws and regulations.Collect and analyze environmental samples (air, water, or soil) for safety assessment.Promote public awareness on hygiene, sanitation, and environmental protection.Maintain accurate inspection and incident reports.Collaborate with other departments to improve community health and environmental safety.
✅ Requirements
BSc or HND in Environmental Health (registration as Environmental Health Officer mandatory)•Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience•Occupational Health & Safety Management System Lead Auditor Training•Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene & Standards Control preferred•Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) required•Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner (CIEH) an advantage
