Job description
Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated Ancillary Medical Services Officer to coordinate and oversee non-clinical healthcare support services such as laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and physiotherapy units to ensure seamless and efficient patient care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of ancillary departments.
- Ensure timely delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
- Monitor staff performance and maintain high-quality service standards.
- Liaise with clinical departments to support patient management and service efficiency.
- Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment within assigned units.
- Maintain records and prepare periodic operational reports.
- Implement compliance with hospital policies, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Assist in developing and executing improvement plans for service delivery.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./HND in Health Administration, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital operations or ancillary service coordination.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and service protocols.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems.
Requirements & qualifications
WAEC/GCE Certificate
- St. John’s Ambulance Training Certificate
- First Responders Training Certificate
- All services shall be delivered using local resources
