Job Description
Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated Ancillary Medical Services Officer to coordinate and oversee non-clinical healthcare support services such as laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and physiotherapy units to ensure seamless and efficient patient care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of ancillary departments.
- • Ensure timely delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
- • Monitor staff performance and maintain high-quality service standards.
- • Liaise with clinical departments to support patient management and service efficiency.
- • Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment within assigned units.
- • Maintain records and prepare periodic operational reports.
- • Implement compliance with hospital policies, safety, and regulatory standards.
- • Assist in developing and executing improvement plans for service delivery.
Requirements:
- • B.Sc./HND in Health Administration, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, or related field.
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital operations or ancillary service coordination.
- • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and service protocols.
- • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems.
