Human Resources Manager: Export Fruit Farm: Karas Region

We are sourcing for a Professional and Experienced Human Resources Manager to join the client in the Karas Region of Namibia

Your 10+ Years professional experience should include extensive experience in the Labour Relations Field within an Export Farm environment

Your Key Performance Areas must include:

As part of the Management Team be able to display in depth experience in the following Key Areas:

Human Resources Administration:

  • �� Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • �� Oversee the administration of benefits, leave policies and relevant HR Functions
  • �� Prepare and communicate on HR Related reports for management

Payroll Administration:

  • �� Processing Payrolls: Hourly Employee’s, Seasonal Employee’s and Permanent Employee’s
  • �� Relevant experience with the Payroll Compliance Law of Namibia
  • �� Management of the Compliance and Taxation documentation, information according to the relevant Law within Namibia
  • Industrial Relations
  • �� Ensure Policy Development and Compliance is updated, documented and communicated as per Labour Relations Law in Namibia
  • �� Being able to advice management on Namibian Labour Law, interactions and employee rights
  • �� Negotiations between workers and management, particularly during contract discussions, layoffs, or disputes

Recruitment and Selection of new employees:

  • �� Ensure the company organograms are developed and updated
  • �� Take ownership of the company Recruitment and Selection Process/Policy is developed and documented
  • �� Manage staffing needs and communicate same with the Management Team
  • �� Understand the manpower needs and create job descriptions accordingly
  • �� Ensure a transparent recruitment process is followed

Minimum Requirements:

  • �� Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field: Industrial Relations, Labour Law or Human Resources
  • �� 10+ Years experience in handling employee relations, conflict management, or labour relations
  • �� 10+ Years experience as part of a Management Team
  • �� Must have a Drivers’ License

Salary & Compensation

Annual Salary: $25000-50000
