Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical examinations and diagnose illnesses, injuries, or other health conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Provide preventive health education and counseling to patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with medical ethics, health regulations, and clinic policies.
Requirements & qualifications
Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable medical facility, is seeking an experienced General Practitioner (Physician) to provide high-quality primary healthcare services, manage patient consultations, and ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
Minimum Qualification:
- • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience post-fellowship or specialist certification in Family Medicine / General Practice (with evidence)
- Valid Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria license for the year in question
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- NYSC discharge certificate
- Experience with electronic health systems for all aspects of clinical documentation
