Job Description

    A Plate Fitter (Workshop) share complementary roles in fabricating, assembling, and installing steel components for industrial and construction projects. The Plate Fitter works primarily in a workshop environment, preparing, cutting, shaping, and assembling steel plates to precise specifications while adhering to technical drawings, quality standards, and safety protocols. Role require precision, alignment, and a commitment to safety to ensure successful project execution.

    Requirements

    • Exhibit a professional and proactive approach to all tasks and work well within a team environment.
    • Maintain a high standard of work and adhere to project deadlines.
    • Fluent in English or Russian to communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and project teams.
    • Proficient in MIG/MAG welding and capable of performing high-quality tack welds on steel components.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure precise fabrication.
    • Experience with steel fitting and assembly, including working with structural steel plates and components in both workshop.
    • Proficient in working to strict tolerances and ensuring all fabricated components meet dimensional and quality standards.
    • Attention to detail is crucial for accurate fitting, welding, and alignment of components.
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in either plate fitting (workshop) , ideally in construction, industrial, or heavy fabrication sectors.
    • Familiarity with handling large, heavy materials and performing precise structural assembly tasks.
    • Strong commitment to safety regulations and procedures, with an ability to work in high-risk environments.
    • Must adhere to health and safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Must hold a valid driving license and be able to travel to job sites as required.
    • Capable of working in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy materials.
    • Skilled in using workshop tools and equipment (e.g., plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, grinders, drills) for fabrication and assembly.
