INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS ANALYST – FULLY REMOTE

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented International Affairs Analysts to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will contribute to the analysis of global trends, political developments, and economic conditions to provide insights that support research and consulting activities.
The successful candidate will support research projects, analyze data, prepare reports, monitor international relations, assess geopolitical risks, and contribute to policy recommendations.
This is a fully remote opportunity, and qualified candidates from across the globe are welcome to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct thorough research on international developments and trends, with a primary focus on:
- US-Japan alliance
- Indo-Pacific geopolitics
- East Asian security
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data relevant to global affairs.
- Prepare reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor international relations and geopolitical developments.
- Contribute research and analysis that supports policy recommendations and decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Area Studies, or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred but not required.
Minimum 1 year of professional working experience within one or more of the following:
- Federal government agencies
- Congressional institutions
- Chambers of commerce
- Think tanks
- Top-tier consulting firms
- Lobbying and government relations agencies
- Military sectors
- Defense contractors
- Trade promotion institutions
- Candidates with practical experience in policy consulting, academic research, project management, lobbying, or consulting services related to the above institutions are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for international affairs.
