Job Description
To support our team, we are searching for a Payment Analyst (f/m/d) to be based in our Milan office.
- • WHAT YOU WILL DO
- • Analyze transactional data to identify trends, patterns and scenarios related to online payments
- • Utilize statistical analysis and data visualization tools to present findings effectively
- • Manage, monitor and control online payments volumes and costs, online payment platforms and systems performances
- • Generate regular reports on payment processing metrics and KPIs as well as ad hoc analysis aimed to support C-Level decisions
- • Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for enhancement
Assess and mitigate the operational risks, conduct checks on payment integrations, acquirer integration, analyze incidents and solve processing issues
- • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Fraud Prevention, Customer Care, Legal etc. to ensure operational excellence is achieved
- • Work with product development teams to implement data-driven improvements
- • Interact with the external financial and payment stakeholders to find business opportunities
- • Manage the relationship with our partners in the Online Payments Industry
Requirements & Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
- • Strong analytical and data driven background is required as well as precision and attitude toward problem-solving
- • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Power BI is mandatory
- • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering is preferred. Economics and Business backgrounds are also welcome
- • Excellent level of written and spoken English and Italian
2+ years of experience in a similar position within a structured organization in the e-commerce business, advisory or system integration consultancy will be a plus
- • Understanding of payment processing, acquiring, orchestration platforms, fraud management and antifraud tools is preferred
