Just to clarify, we are currently hiring for our client, micro1.

You’ll interpret engineering schematics and transform them into precise 3D solid models. The work may involve complex curved geometry, programmatic CAD generation, STEP file creation, and detailed geometric validation.

This is not a general hardware-support or electronics role. Strong CAD, mechanical-design, spatial-reasoning, and technical problem-solving skills are essential.

No prior AI experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret dimensions and geometric relationships from engineering drawings and schematics
• Translate 2D technical drawings into accurate 3D mechanical models
• Decompose complex components into appropriate geometric features
• Model curves, sweeps, lofts, fillets, chamfers, and Boolean operations
• Use Python to generate, manipulate, or automate CAD geometry
• Create valid and watertight solid models
• Export models in formats such as STEP
• Validate dimensions, topology, volume, surface area, and inertia properties
• Diagnose discrepancies between expected and generated geometry
• Develop reproducible CAD solutions that work in clean technical environments
• Evaluate and improve AI-generated CAD outputs for geometric accuracy

• Strong Python programming ability
