Job description
We are looking for a Lead Go Developer for an international enterprise-level project in the financial and insurance sector.
The position is fully remote and full-time.
Candidates must be physically located in time zones GMT+1 to GMT+5.
The role focuses on developing and evolving high-load distributed backend systems using Go, making technical and architectural decisions, and ensuring scalability, reliability and fault tolerance.
The project also involves practical AI/LLM integration.
Requirements & qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of production Go experience
- 2+ years of technical leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Go and concurrency
- Experience with distributed, microservice and high-load systems
- System and API design experience
- Experience with databases and message brokers
- Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Experience with scalability, reliability, fault tolerance and observability
- FinTech, banking or insurance experience is a strong advantage
- Practical AI/LLM integration experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- English C1+
