Job description
We are looking for a Go Architect / Solution Architect for an international enterprise-level project in the financial and insurance sector.
The position is fully remote and full-time.
Candidates must be physically located in time zones GMT+1 to GMT+5.
The role focuses on designing scalable and reliable backend architectures, distributed and high-load systems, and making key technical and architectural decisions.
You will work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to define architecture, design APIs and distributed services, and ensure scalability, reliability, security and observability.
The project also involves practical AI/LLM integration.
Requirements & qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience
- 4+ years of production Go experience
- Strong knowledge of Go and concurrency
- Deep experience with distributed, high-load and microservice architectures
- Strong system and API design skills
- Experience with databases, message brokers and distributed systems
- Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Experience with scalability, fault tolerance, security and observability
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and creating technical design documentation
- FinTech, banking or insurance experience is a strong advantage
- Practical AI/LLM implementation or integration experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- English C1+
