Key Responsibilities
Accounts Management:
- • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including verifying and coding invoices and preparing payments.
- • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
- • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including data entry into accounting software.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative assistance to the accounting team, including filing, organizing documents, and scheduling appointments.
Communicate with vendors, customers, and other departments to resolve issues and ensure timely payment and collection of invoices.
Reporting and Compliance:
- • Prepare and distribute financial reports and statements as required.
- • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
General Office Tasks:
- • Perform basic office tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and processing mail.
- • Maintain a database to ensure that records are complete and current.
Requirements & Qualifications
- • Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective verbal and written communication abilities.
